Candice May is a writer from British Columbia, Canada. Her work has appeared in Ploughshares, PRISM International, The Masters Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, and elsewhere. She won The New Quarterly’s 2024 Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Award, and is a graduate of the Book Project at Lighthouse Writers Workshop (2021-2023). Candice teaches writing at the Sarah Selecky Writing School and is completing her debut collection of short stories.
